Man accused of embezzlement

The Polson Police Department investigated a report of theft by an employee and discovered the employee had taken gasoline and money totaling more than $1,500 over the course of 18 months. The man was arrested and charged with felony theft by embezzlement.
The Kalispell Police Department received a pair of reports regarding notes left on vehicles.
A girl reported that someone had left sticky notes on cars in a parking lot in Hutton Ranch Plaza with her phone number and the message, “Sorry for the damage.” The cars were not actually damaged, and the girl had been at home all day.
A man had a note left on his vehicle saying the writer knew he had hit their car door and they would be filing a police report.
