Homeless man jailed after allegedly buying alcohol for minor

POLSON — A homeless man was arrested and jailed for reportedly purchasing alcohol for a minor in exchange for money. At approximately 9 p.m. on June 9, law enforcement responded to Riverside Park and found an underage male in possession of an open container of beer near the Armed Forces Memorial Bridge. Close-by, police confronted Richard Bruce, 48, of Missoula, who was taken into custody. Bruce was taken to Lake County Jail and charged for unlawful transactions with children.
