Joel Greene of Columbia Falls and his son, Travis, 11, make their way though part of the compass and map reading course at the Montana Search And Rescue Rendezvous on Friday afternoon, June 15, in Columbia Falls. The rendezvous, which is sponsored by the Flathead County Sheriff's Department, offered a range of courses in subjects like swiftwater rescue, lost person behavior, first aid, crime scenes, CPR, and ethics.
