St. John's, AARP to host 55+ drivers

St. John’s Lutheran Hospital has joined the American Association of Retired persons (AARP) to offer a 55 Alive Driver Safety Program. 

AARP developed the eight-hour classroom refresher course to help drivers 50 years of age or older to improve their skills and prevent accidents.

The next session course will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 25, at Libby Christian Church and at 8 a.m.  Monday, Aug. 20, at the United Methodist Church in Troy. 

The fee for the course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members, payable to AARP (check or money orders only). 

Persons may register for the course by calling Cindy with St. John’s Hospital at 

283-7000, Ext. 0, Monday through Friday. Registration is limited.
