Babcock and Langton are high-point swimmers

Colton Babcock and Tyler Langton had a great weekend at the Plains Invitational swim meet June 23-24.

Babcock took high point honors in the 11-12 age group, and Langton was high point in the 9-10 age group. Overall, the boys team took second place.

Complete results were unavailable. The team will travel to Shelby this weekend.

Uphill skiers need to be aware of avalanches on Big Mtn.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
