Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: A Site Plan Review to enable the operation of an Automotive Wrecking & Salvage Yard and Recycling Center on a 4.56-acre parcel in the Urban Heavy Industrial zoning district of Grant County.
MITIGATED DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE
Grant County has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (WAC Chapter 197-11) for the following project: A Site Plan Review to enable the operation of an Automotive Wrecking & Salvage Yard and Recycling Center on a 4.56-acre parcel in the Urban Heavy Industrial zoning district of Grant County. The subject parcel is known as Lot 1 of the Walker Industrial Short Plat, Replat No. 1. The site address of the subject parcel is 13624 N. Frontage Rd. East, Moses Lake, WA. It is located approximately 11/2 miles east of Moses Lake, WA, and approximately 1,800 feet west of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Road N NE, and in the NE quarter of Section 32, Township 19 North, Range 29 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #31-2143-000).
After a review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information on file with the Planning Department, Grant County has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned.

Office hours: 8 am-12 noon, 1-5 pm, M-F. The public is invited to comment on this MDNS by submitting written comments to Rick Rettig at the above address no later than 5 pm on July 11, 2012.
