Prankster's plastic leg wastes sheriff's time
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 12 years, 6 months AGO
In an overabundance of caution, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to Blankenship Bridge after someone reported a leg sticking out of the water up to the knee on the west side of the bridge. Sheriff Chuck Curry said he waded out into the water and discovered a fake plastic foot staged to look like someone’s leg. The prank obviously wasted emergency responders’ time when they might have been needed elsewhere.
