Christopher Bradley Depner, 48
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 12 years, 10 months AGO
Chris was born Oct. 12, 1963, in Everett, Wash., and passed away Feb. 26, 2012, in Coeur d’Alene.
Chris spent most of his life living in Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene, enjoying his life, his friends and his family.
Although Chris was disabled from a previous bout with cancer 30 years ago, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family. Chris loved to go up in the mountains and just explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. He enjoyed fishing at many of the area’s beautiful lakes with his friends. Chris loved to have several of his best pals over to talk and barbecue and just enjoy each other’s company. Chris always had an open door and went out of his way to help others any time he could.
Chris was a very special person that everyone loved. And he loved everyone. Chris never spoke badly of a single person in his entire life. Chris had more friends than anyone could imagine. No one could ever forget Chris, once they knew him.
Chris is survived by his, mom and dad, Jim and Carolyn Shelly; and six siblings, Cheryl Schneider of Coeur d’Alene, Craig Cornehl of Spokane, Cindy Depner of Coeur d’Alene, Kim Beasley of Post Falls, Jimmy Shelly of Post Falls and Julie Shelly of Salem, Ore.; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Real Life Ministries, Building 2.
Donations may be made in Chris’s name to the Cancer Patient Support Services at the Kootenai Health Foundation, 2003 Kootenai Health Way, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
