PROJECT: A Conditional Use Permit and SEPA Checklist to enable the development of a surface mine and mineral extraction operation site on an approximately 84.40-acre parcel in the Rural Remote zoning district of Grant County. Said development will include sand and gravel production, crushing, washing, screening, hauling, stockpiling, temporary and/or permanent asphalt and concrete batch plants, scales, shop, office, and all related accessory uses. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Air Quality Permit, Storm Water Permit, Reclamation Permit, Building Permits. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject parcel is located approximately 1 mile southeast of Ephrata, WA, and approximately 11/2 miles northwest of the intersection of State Highway 282 and State Highway 17, and in the NE quarter of Section 25, Township 21 North, Range 26 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #16-0870-000). ZONING: Rural Remote. PUBLIC HEARING: Hearing Examiner meeting tentatively scheduled at 12:00 noon, May 9, 2012, in Commissioners' Hearing Room of Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, WA. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony.
