If you were not superintendent, what would you be doing: I would be hiking in the great Montana outdoors in the summer or reading a good novel in the winter.

Family: Wife, Judy; children, Will; David; Charity; Jessica; Alan; Heather; Andrew; Zachary; Emily. Also, 11 brothers and sisters; 15 grandchildren.

Hobbies: Reading, playing board and card games, hiking, rock collecting, volleyball, tennis and golf.
