Huskies earn share of 1st place in Pac-12

Terrence Ross scored 18 points and Washington defeated Southern California (6-24, 1-16) 80-58 on Thursday night at Los Angeles to clinch at least a share of the Pac-12 regular-season title.
The Huskies can win the conference title outright for just the second time since 1953 if they beat UCLA on Saturday and complete a sweep of the Los Angeles schools for only the third time since 1979. Washington (21-8, 14-3) has won 10 of 11 and six of its last seven on the road. It last won the league title outright in 2009.
Oregon State 77, Utah 67: At Corvallis, Ore., Jared Cunningham had 17 points and six assists, Joe Burton added 13 points and seven rebounds, and Oregon State (16-13, 6-11 Pac-12) snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over Utah (6-23, 3-14).
Oregon 91, Colorado 80: At Eugene, Ore., Devoe Joseph had 24 points, five rebounds and five assists to lift Oregon (21-8, 12-5 Pac-12) past Colorado (19-10, 11-6).
Nevada 65, New Mexico 61: At Reno, Nev., Olek Czyz scored 15 points and Malik Story 14 as Nevada (24-5, 12-1) held off New Mexico State (22-9, 9-4) to clinch the Western Athletic Conference regular-season championship.
Utah State 71, San Jose State 61: At San Jose, Calif., Preston Medlin scored 26 points and Utah State (16-14, 7-6 WAC) beat the Spartans (9-20, 1-12).
Louisiana Tech 75, Fresno State 70: At Fresno, Calif., Trevor Gaskins scored 16 points as Louisiana Tech (16-14, 6-7) downed Fresno State (13-18, 3-10 WAC).
San Francisco 87, Portland 66: At Las Vegas, Rashad Green and Angelo Caloiaro scored 19 points each to lead San Francisco past Portland (6-24) in the second round of the West Coast Conference tournament.
The fifth-seeded Dons (18-13) play No. 4 seed Loyola Marymount in a quarterfinal game tonight.
San Diego 76, Pepperdine 54: At Las Vegas, Johnny Dee scored 30 points to lead San Diego past Pepperdine (10-19) in a West Coast Conference tournament second-round game.
The sixth-seeded Toreros (13-17) play No. 3 seed BYU in a quarterfinal game tonight.

No. 1 Kentucky 79, Georgia 49: At Lexington, Ky., Darius Miller hit five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points, and Kentucky (29-1, 5-0 Southeastern Conference) beat Georgia (13-16, 4-11).
No. 13 Michigan 72, Illinois 61: At Champaign, Ill., Tim Hardaway Jr. had 25 points and 11 rebounds to help Michigan (22-8, 12-5 Big Ten) beat Illinois (17-13, 6-11).
No. 22 Florida State 63, No. 24 Virginia 60: At Charlottesville, Va., Ian Miller made a 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds left and Florida State (20-9, 11-4) rallied past Virginia (21-8, 8-7 ACC).
