Those hoping for a chance to see Tim Tebow speak in Kalispell have another chance to purchase tickets.

The Denver Broncos quarterback is scheduled to speak Wednesday at a banquet hosted by Stillwater Christian School.

Tickets to the event sold out in less than 72 hours when the school announced in January that Tebow would be the guest speaker.

But several seats have opened up in recent weeks, Stillwater Director of Development Craig Hunnicutt said.

“We had a handful that were reserved and never paid for,” he said. “And some of [the openings] happened when the Missoula event came on line.”

Tebow is scheduled to speak in Missoula at noon Wednesday. He also has scheduled appearances in Billings Monday and in Great Falls Tuesday.

In Kalispell, Tebow is the keynote speaker at Stillwater Christian’s “For Such a Time As This” banquet Wednesday. The event will take place at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center.

About 2,200 people are expected to attend, Hunnicutt said.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for those attending the banquet. Parking at the fairgrounds is free and will be first come, first served, Hunnicutt said.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Posse and parents of Stillwater Christian students will be on hand to assist with parking.

The banquet, which will be catered by Vista Linda, begins at 6:30 p.m. Bleacher seating for those not taking part in the banquet will open at about 7:15 p.m.

Tebow is scheduled to take the stage at 7:40 p.m. Video recording will not be allowed.

There are no more bleacher seats available, but Hunnicutt said there are several options open to those who might want to attend the banquet. There are two or three whole tables open and several dozen individual seats.

Tables of eight are available for $1,000. Individual seats are $150.

Those who want top-notch seating have a more expensive option.

“I have a handful of really choice seats for $316 each,” Hunnicutt said. “They’re about third row and almost dead center ... just a few tables from Tebow.”

To purchase a seat, call Stillwater Christian at 752-4400 or stop by the school at 255 FFA Drive.

“We’re at the point where it’s money talks for the tickets to walk,” Hunnicutt said. “They need to come to the school with money in hand or use the PayPal account on our website.”
