Missing woman found dead

GRAND COULEE – The body of a dead woman was found here on Sunday, Feb. 12, and has been identified as a woman who was earlier reported missing.
A citizen found the body of Jamie Marie Breckenridge, 42, of Grand Coulee in a vacant lot in the 400 block of Wall Street around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 12. It appeared the body had been outside for some time, and was partially covered in snow.
Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison took custody of the body. Following an autopsy, he said further investigation is warranted as to cause and manner of death.
During the missing person portion of this case, authorities reported there were no obvious signs of foul play.
Grand Coulee Police began seeking information about Breckenridge after she wasn't seen or heard from after Jan. 8. To the police's knowledge, she was last seen alive at Tim's 4 Corner Union 76 in Grand Coulee.
