Shelly Romine has joined bankcda as Loan Department team leader and vice president.

Romine is responsible for directing loan policies and credit procedures to ensure the overall quality of the bank's lending portfolio. Romine brings "a wealth of finance experience to the bank," said Wes Veach, president and COO of bankcda.

"Her expertise and understanding of the credit environment adds to the foundation from which we operate as a community bank," he said. "She will be an integral part of our growing role in the recovery of our local economy."

Romine brings 16 years of finance experience to her role, including 12 years in Coeur d'Alene banking credit administration and commercial lending. Prior to that, she was a CPA for a local accounting firm.

The $78 million asset bankcda is in its 10th year of operation as a state-chartered, FDIC-insured commercial bank headquartered in Coeur d'Alene.

Both the Hayden branch at 200 West Honeysuckle and the Coeur d'Alene branch at 912 Northwest Blvd. as well as a courier service serve the commercial and individual banking needs of the area.
