Bauman, a sophomore from Post Falls High, threw 53-feet, 1-inch at the Mountain West Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, N.M., on Feb. 24. The distance is the fifth best in school history.

McCrite, a junior from Lakeland High and North Idaho College, went 3-1 in the Region 4 Conference tournament Feb. 24-25 in Fort Hays, Kan., and finished as runner-up. Reynolds, a junior from Lakeland and NIC, scored nine second-half points for the Jaguars in a 62-38 win over Arkansas State in the Sun Belt tournament. Reynolds scored six points on Sunday in the Jaguars' 60-54 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament. South Alabama finished 17-13.

Work, a junior from Lake City High, picked up her first win and save of the season on Saturday as the Broncos beat Creighton and North Dakota State in the Wilson/DeMarini Invitational in Tempe, Ariz. Work allowed one hit over six innings against the Bluejays, striking out 10. Against North Dakota State, Work pitched the final two innings, surrendering an unearned run on one hit for the save.

Hill, a freshman from Post Falls, has made 45 3-pointers for a .409 percentage, both school freshman records. Hill has played in 27 games and scored 160 points for the Vandals (18-12), who face Hawaii on Thursday at noon in the Western Athletic Conference tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

Baker, a junior from Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy who played basketball at Lake City, was a unanimous selection to the All-Big Sky Conference first team, selected by the league's nine coaches. She averaged 14.9 points and 7.1 rebounds a game. She's scored 20 or more points in Montana's final four regular season games and is 19 points from 1,000 for her career. "Katie has steadily improved from her freshman to her sophomore to her junior year," Montana coach Robin Selvig said. "She's shooting it better this season, and she's become a better defender. She's just become more consistent this season, which is what we had hoped for."

Lasisi, a senior from NIC, scored 22 points for the Pirates (25-3) in a 64-53 win over Trinity (Texas) on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament in Belton, Texas. Lasisi had 15 points and eight rebounds in Whitworth's 90-79 win over McMurray in the first round. Whitworth will face Virginia Wesleyan College on Friday in the sectional semifinal in Whitewater, Wis. Friday's winner will play in the final on Saturday, with the winner advancing to the Division III Final Four.
