Christine Cunningham, 44

Christine was born Jan. 13, 1968, in Coeur d’Alene and passed away on March 7, 2012, in Coeur d’Alene at home after a long illness. Christine was the daughter of Willis M. and Barbara “Anne” Brownlee.

Christine attended school at Ramsey Elementary, Canfield Jr. High and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1986. Christine worked for the Coeur d’Alene Police Records Department for 21 years. Christine was married to Brent Cunningham (divorced) and they have one son, Trevor Cunningham.

Christine loved spending time with her family. She loved cooking and shopping with her mom. She loved to fish in the local lakes and made several trips to Montana to fly fish. She traveled many thousands of miles with her dad on his motorcycle. They had annual trips that she treasured and looked forward to for months because of the time she would spend with just her dad. Her last trip was taking her son, Trevor, to Maui, Hawaii, last summer where they enjoyed the surf and zip lining. Christine loved the water and boating which she did often with her Aunt Ruth. Once you met Christine you would never forget her because of her endearing spirit and infectious smile. She will be forever missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Trevor Cunningham; her parents, Willis and Anne Brownlee; her brother, Todd (Kristine) Brownlee; nieces, Jordan and Lauren Brownlee; her uncle’s, Michael (Delores) Humbach, Tom (Marsha) Humbach, David (Z.J.) Humbach; her aunts, Liz Boehmer, Mary D. (Brad) Plaga, Anita (John) Cushing, Donna (Robin) Tea, Mary (Dan) Deans and Ruth Brownlee; and her close friends, Jeff Randall and Crystal Miller.  

Her family would like to thank the staff at Kootenai Medical Center Intensive Care Unit and the University of Utah Cardio Unit.
