Raymond Joseph Zuleski, 82, passed away March 2, 2012, at his home in Post Falls. Raymond was born in Chicago, Ill., on March 18, 1929, to Joseph and Annie (Niewazna) Zuleski.
Raymond retired as Colonel in the U.S. Army, after 33 years active duty and reserve. He received his M.S. degree in industrial management at the University of La Verne. He was also a real estate broker, college instructor, NRA Certified Firearms Instructor and Private Pilot. His hobbies were flying, golfing and shooting sports. Raymond was very involved in the community and participated faithfully with the American Legion. He enjoyed his “Coffee Times” with all of his local buddies. Raymond was a pillar in the community and will be missed.
He is survived by his sons, Steven (Alicia) Zuleski, Chris (Donna) Zuleski and Mark (Margaret) Zuleski; and daughters, Kathleen (David) Ray and Diane (Mike) Datko. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Raymond is preceded in death by his daughter, Janet.
There will be a memorial service in his honor from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at the Post Falls American Legion Hall, 1138 E. Poleline Ave., Post Falls.
