Bryzgalov stymies Leafs

Ilya Bryzgalov made 29 saves for his third shutout in the past four games and Claude Giroux scored the only goal in the shootout and the visiting Philadelphia Flyers earned a 1-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.
Bryzgalov's biggest save came on a Phil Kessel breakaway in overtime. He also denied the Leafs forward in the shootout to preserve the victory.
Capitals 4, Bruins 3: Alexander Semin had a goal and set up Jay Beagle's go-ahead score, lifting Washington at Boston.
Avalanche 3, Oilers 2, SO: At Denver, Milan Hejduk and Peter Mueller scored in the shootout and Colorado beat Edmonton.
Hurricanes 4, Lightning 2: At Tampa, Fla., Jeff Skinner scored two goals, and Carolina beat Tampa Bay.
Devils 2, Islanders 1: At Uniondale, N.Y., Marek Zidlicky and David Clarkson scored 14 seconds apart in the final two minutes of the third period to rally New Jersey past New York.
Sabres 4, Senators 3, SO: Tyler Ennis scored in regulation and then added the winning goal in the shootout to lift Buffalo at Ottawa.
Coyotes 3, Sharks 0: At Glendale, Ariz., Mike Smith stopped 42 shots and Phoenix beat San Jose.
Stars 2, Ducks 0: Kari Lehtonen made 21 saves for his 20th career shutout, and host Dallas beat Anaheim.
Canadiens 4, Canucks 1: Erik Cole scored two third-period goals and Montreal won at Vancouver.
Predators 3, Red Wings 2: Andrei Kostitsyn was assisted by his brother, Sergei, on a pair of power-play goals to lead host Nashville past Detroit.
Blues 4, Blue Jackets 1: Brian Elliott made 21 saves and St. Louis beat Columbus to tie a franchise record with its 29th home victory of the season.
