Golf

Justin Rose had to make up a three-shot deficit against Bubba Watson, and then a two-shot deficit against Keegan Bradley. Rose was steady down the stretch Sunday, even with a bogey from the bunker on the 18th hole, and closed with a 2-under 70 to win the Cadillac Championship in Doral, Fla. Watson missed a birdie for a share of the lead on the final hole.

Tiger Woods muddied his Masters future when he left after 11 holes with soreness in his left Achilles tendon, wincing badly on his final shot - a 321-yard drive down the middle of the 12th fairway. Woods said he would have it evaluated to determine the scope of the injury.

• George McNeill birdied the last three holes for a 3-under 69 to rally past Japanese star Ryo Ishikawa and win the Puerto Rico Open in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Football

Peyton Manning spent nearly 6 1/2 hours at the Arizona Cardinals' headquarters and training facility in Tempe, Ariz, in meetings designed to lure the superstar to the desert.

The session was even longer than the nearly six hours Manning spent at the Broncos' facility in Denver on Friday night.

• Randy Moss is scheduled to work out for the San Francisco 49ers today, according to sources.

The wide receiver played in the Bay Area for the Oakland Raiders for two seasons before a trade sent him to New England.

Felix Hernandez allowed two runs on four hits in four innings and threw 53 pitches, striking out three for the Seattle Mariners in a 7-5 spring training loss to the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Trayvon Robinson had three hits, including a home run for Seattle, which hosts Texas today at 1 p.m. in Peoria, Ariz.

Lakers 97, Celtics 94: Kobe Bryant scored 10 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter to lead host Los Angeles over Boston.

76ers 106, Knicks 94: Lou Williams scored half of his 28 points in a third-quarter flurry to lead Philadelphia at New York.

Cavaliers 118, Rockets 107: Antawn Jamison scored 28 points, leading host Cleveland past Houston.

Magic 107, Pacers 94: Dwight Howard had 30 points and 13 rebounds as host Orlando beat Indiana.

Sled dog racing

Aliy Zirkle, a 41-year-old musher, picked up a gold cup and $2,500 in gold nuggets for being the first to reach Alaska's western coast, pulling in to the Norton Sound community at 7:28 a.m. Alaska time Sunday in the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.
