Dennis Wayne Holloway, 51, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, at his home in Athol.
He is survived by his three sons, Dana and wife Heather Holloway of Spokane Valley, Justin and Nathan Holloway of Athol; his brother, James and wife Sue Holloway of Spokane; his sister, Debbie Holloway of Deer Park, Wash.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Gretchen Holloway.
Dennis was born and raised in Spokane where he was a member of the Air National Guard. Dennis had his son, Dana, with his first wife Michelle. He then fell in love and married his wife of 23 years, Carol. They lived and worked in Spokane until 1994. They moved with their two sons, Justin and Nathan, to Post Falls where they started a franchise of Fantastic Sams Hair Salon. Dennis and Carol were owner operators for many years. They then moved to Athol in 2007 where Dennis became owner/operator of the franchise of Vanguard Cleaning.
Dennis was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp and go trap shooting with his family and numerous friends. Dennis was a proud man who loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Athol Community Center, 30355 Third St., Athol, with a potluck lunch to follow.
