Leontina (Tina) C. Isaak, 89, of Coeur d’Alene, died peacefully following a short illness on Feb. 21, 2012. Her strong faith in God was her foundation and she looked forward to joining her Savior in heaven as well as her husband, John W. Isaak.

Tina was born April 15, 1922, in American Falls to Henry and Maria (Mary) Müeller Kranzler. She grew up on a farm and graduated from American Falls High School. She married the love of her life, John, on March 15, 1942, and they lived 33 years in Pocatello before moving to Coeur d’Alene in 1979. Through the years, Tina was active in her church, including serving as organist. Her interests included music, sewing, Bridge, entertaining guests and volunteering for charities, such as the Red Cross. She found her faith was strengthened daily through reading God’s word.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Hertha and her brother, Alvin.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Ellen Kranzler of Boise and Annie Lehmann of Aberdeen; five nieces and nephews, Dayna (Bill) Feher of Dagsboro, Del., Conrad Kranzler of Boise, Mark (Sherrie) Kranzler of Pocatello, Camille (John Newcomb) Kranzler of Boise and Anne (Gary) McDannel of Rigby.

A celebration of Tina’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Coeur d’Alene, with a reception to follow.
