MOSES LAKE - Reardan's Lauren Schulz scored 24 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the North All-Stars to a 69-48 win over the South All-Stars.
Big Bend Community College, the site of the 5th annual high school basketball senior girls classic, saw plenty of action last night as players from around the region got one last chance to showcase their talents on the hardwood.
It wasn't much of a contest though as the North squad got out to an early lead and never looked back, as the team took a commanding 31-14 score into the locker room at the break.
The South team gave it their best shot in the second half of action as they cranked it up a notch offensively, hanging 34 points on the scoreboard.
But the North team, not to be outdone, scored 38 points of their own and cruised to a 21 point win.
The difference in game boiled down to shooting from behind the arch as the North All-Stars connected on eight of 17 attempts (47 percent),
The South All-Stars only hit three of 16 shots(18 percent).
Ephrata's Kelsey Yenney added 12 points in the winning effort for the North. Almira/Coulee-Hartline's Kodi Noggles knocked down nine points.
Her teammates Madeline Isaak and Miranda Porterfield contributed eight points each.
Moses Lake's Madi Wilks drained six points, had five boards and five blocked shots, and the Tigers Heidi Buchert finished with two points in the winning effort.
Quincy's Marinda Talley led the South All-Stars with 16 points and nine rebounds. Lake Roosevelt's Dominique Pleasants added nine points.

Kiona-Benton's Taylor Brown knocked down six points, Connell's Megan Booker and Ki-Be's Yesenia Torres got on the board with four points each.
Royal's Lindsay Christensen added two points, and Columbia's Krista Colvin rounded out the scoring with one point in the losing effort.
