Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on March 2, 2012 from Goodrich Farms (Designated Contact: Elliott Goodrich, 1044 Road Q SE, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-989-7777), were found to be technically complete on March 8, 2012.

Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County on March 2, 2012 from Goodrich Farms (Designated Contact: Elliott Goodrich, 1044 Road Q SE, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-989-7777), were found to be technically complete on March 8, 2012. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may
be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: The construction of one (1) 157-ft. x 257-ft. (40,349 sq. ft.) potato storage facility on an approximately 92.80-acre parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Building Permit. STUDIES REQUIRED: None.
LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 643 Road Q NE, Moses Lake, WA. The subject site is a portion of Parcel #19-0970-000, and is located approximately 51/2 miles east of Moses Lake, and approximately 1/4 mile north of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Road Q NE, and in the southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 19 North, Range 29 East, WM, Grant County, WA. ZONING: Agriculture. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. Office hours: 8 am-12 noon, 1-5 pm, M-F. Comments must be submitted to the Planning Department no later than 5 pm on March 30, 2012. Comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand-delivered, or sent by facsimile. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
