Morning run: 8 a.m., Fleet Feet, 511 Sherman Ave. Distance, 2-10 miles.

SUNDAY

Leashes and Laces: 5K fun run/walk, 9 a.m., Greyhound Park and Event Center, second Post Falls police K-9 fundraiser. Entry fee including T-shirt and medal is $25. Race day registration welcome. Forms at PF City Hall. Also, best dressed dog contest, PF police K-9 demonstration.

Sunday Slugs at Manito Park: 8 a.m. Meet in the parking lot just west of Grand and 18th Avenue. The Sunday Slugs meet at 8 each Sunday for a scenic walk or run starting at the Manito Duck Pond. The course includes the beautiful parkway of Manito Boulevard, with views of the Hangman Valley from High Drive and then a run or walk by Cannon Hill Park and pond. Friendly people.

Free Cooking Class: Gluten-free cooking, 6-7:30 p.m., Pilgrim's Market, 1316 N 4th St Learn how to make truly delicious gluten free food that's fast and easy.
