Patricia Josephine Sorbel, 72, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Pat was born Dec. 15, 1939, in Belleville, Ill., to Francis and Marie Moore. Pat was the youngest of three children.

She married Gerald Sorbel, July 16, 1986, where they lived most of their years together in Coeur d’Alene. Patty had a love for gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, camping, fishing and traveling with Jerry and her dogs Maggie and Saddie Sue. She lived a life full of adventure and fun times including being Miss Clairol in 1955. She will forever be remembered as a fun-loving, amazing, caring, guiding, free-spirited, gentle soul.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Gerald Sorbel. Her four children: Son, Frank Ward; son and daughter-in-law Bob and Denise Ward; daughter Julie Ward; and son and daughter-in-law Larry and Diane Price. She is also survived by her stepson and daughter-in-law Mike and Karen Sorbel; and daughter-in-law Debbie Sorbel. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, two brothers, Jay and Mel Moore, and stepson, Greg Sorbel.
