Republican convention around the corner

MOSES LAKE - The next major event on the calendar for area Republicans is the county convention on Saturday, April 7, from 10 a.m. until the close of business.  

The convention will be held at the Wallenstein Theater  in Moses Lake. The public is invited but there are only about 200 extra seats. An attempt will be made to fill them with party members,

On March 31, Dr. Matt Manweller, Republican candidate for 13th Legislative District State Representative, will be holding his Grant County  Kickoff. It will start at 10 a.m. at the Moses  

Lake Event Center, which is located at South Campus off of Nelson  

Road.

On the last Thursday of the month, March 29, Grant County  

Republicans will hold their Central Committee Meeting at 7 p.m. at Time Out Pizza in Ephrata. They'll be discussing the National Committeeman  and Committeewoman race in May.

These are the people who represent  Washington's Republicans to the Republican National Committee. They'll also be appointing new precinct committee officers and other positions.
