Sophomore Petar Joksimovic, who played in 23 of 32 games this season for North Idaho College, will visit Lewis-Clark State College this weekend, with the chance he'll verbally commit by the end of the weekend, according to NIC men's basketball coach Jared Phay.

Joksimovic, a forward, averaged 7.4 points per game with 35 3-pointers and 81 rebounds.

"He really likes the program," Phay said. "Both the head coach (Brandon Rinta) and (assistant coach) Austin Johnson have been talking with him and really recruiting him hard. His wife is from Coeur d'Alene and when they're on road trips, she can just come home, so that was really appealing to him."

Should Joksimovic opt to sign with the NAIA Warriors, he'd join former NIC post Nick Fromm, who will be a senior next year.

"Those guys both work hard and play really hard," Phay said. "They liked training together, so I know that helps Petar with making his decision."

Sophomore post Edrico McGregor is visiting with Montana State next week, with Idaho State and the University of Texas-San Antonio also in the mix.

Sophomore guards Antoine Hosley and Connor White, and wing Kwame Bates, are also drawing interest.

Jordan McCloud, a freshman wing/forward who redshirted in 2010-11, is on track to graduate and may transfer to a four-year school.

White, who played at Coeur d'Alene High, is planning visits to Northwest College in Kirkland, Wash., and Northwest Nazarene in Caldwell.

Hosley, who averaged 14.6 points per game and was named to the Region 18 all-tournament team, is getting interest from Utah Valley, Sam Houston State and Idaho State.

Phay added that with some coaches at four-year schools considering other jobs, players who commit to them now could see a whole new staff once they arrive on campus.

"This is a crazy time of the year," Phay said. "Sometimes we tell our guys you need to wait to see if they (the coaches) are staying. Antoine could get a few more offers after some of those jobs get filled."

NIC finished 24-8 and lost to College of Southern Idaho in the Region 18 title game.
