CSI men, Snow women out in 3 at nationals

Defending NJCAA champion Southern Idaho lost to Indiana Hills of Ottumwa, Iowa, 92-82 in a loser-out game in the NJCAA men's basketball tournament Friday in Hutchinson, Kan.

Southern Idaho lost to Eastern Oklahoma State in the opening round 76-69 on Tuesday before beating Three Rivers 80-70 in overtime on Thursday.

CSI finishes 31-5.

* Region 18 women's champion Snow College of Ephraim, Utah, lost to Jefferson College 67-59 in a loser-out game in the NJCAA tournament in Salina, Kan., on Friday, and finished the season 21-14.

Shelton beat Snow 85-62 in the opening round on Tuesday. Snow advanced by defeating Malcolm X College 53-50 in overtime on Thursday.

It was the Badgers' first trip to nationals in school history.
