Leeah June Lopez McDowell, 40, longtime Moses Lake resident passed away in her sleep on March 21, 2012 in her home in Moses Lake. She left this world gently on her journey to heaven.
Leeah was born on June 2, 1971 in Yakima, WA.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Peg and Jelly Adams. She is survived by four children, Amanda Lopez, Brandon Lopez, Emma Lopez all of Othello, WA and Antonia Fork of Moses Lake; her parents Mitch and Colleen McDowell of Moses Lake, one brother Stephen Craig (Cher) Baker of Pullman, WA, one sister Melinda (Donny) Lopez of Othello, WA, two nieces Kailyn Baker of Pullman, WA and Makayla Lopez of Othello, WA and one nephew Stephen James Baker of Pullman, WA; several cousins in Yakima, WA and New York, NY, and S'Rae Taylor of Bellingham, WA, Jessica Opie of England and Anthony Cara of CA; 2 aunts Amanda (Bill) Taylor of Bellingham, WA and Kelly Cara (Danny) of CA, two uncles Sam Adams of Moses Lake, WA and Mike McDowell of Yakima, WA, and grandmother Alyne McDowell of CA.
Our loved ones never truly leave us. You see them in the glimmer of others' eyes, hear them in the laughter of others. Love never dies - It lives on in all of us.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Leeah's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2012 in New Beginnings Christian Center, 318 W. Northshore Dr., Moses Lake, WA. A potluck luncheon will immediately follow the services in the Fellowship Hall.
