DA ladies start play, set kickoff for May

DESERT AIRE - The Desert Aire Ladies Golf Club began the 2012 score posting season on March 1.
Play remains sparse, pending the return of the many retirees still in the sunny south. But the ladies look forward to an active season under the direction of the 2012 President Carolyn Holmes.
Other board members of the Ladies Club are Vice-Presidents Betty Moore and Judy Norberg, Assistant Vice-Presidents Jeanette Weyand and Dianna Henson, Secretary Jan Hansen, Treasurer Dree Leonard, Sports Captain Jan Farnan and G-Mail Administrator Lace Powers.
A kick-off scramble, including the 18 hole and the 9 hole leagues, will be held in May and will be followed by a "walking salad" lunch.
Game winners of Saturday, March 17, play were:
1st place, Beth Roller.
2nd place, Linda Varney.
3rd place, Judy Norberg.

OLYMPIA — The Washington Department of Health announced that it has indefinitely suspended Lisa Ann Adams’ certified nursing assistant credential. Her license was suspended in November, but it was announced in mid-December.
