QUINCY – Nothing has changed in the investigation of the March 12 Quincy School District bus roll-over accident with 39 children aboard, according to Washington State Patrol Detective Sergeant Jerry Cooper.

Cooper is the spokesman for the WSP's Major Accident Investigation Team. The team is based in southwest Washington.

“We still have to get over and interview the driver,” he said.

He added that the team is still developing a method for interviewing the young riders that minimizes the negative effects on them.

The accident resulted in injuries of varying degrees to all of the children. Most were home on the same day.

The driver of the bus was 23-year veteran Donna Eaton. She was placed on administrative leave, as is standard procedure in these matters.
