Zvygelskiy, Baumann pace Wildcat tennis

The Columbia Falls boys started the season off with a bang, sweeping Ronan on the road on Tuesday.
The Wildcats got singles wins from Miroslov Zvygelskiy, Andrew Jones, Josh Potter and Caleb Baumann, with Zvygelskiy and Baumann both winning in straight sets.
They also got straight set doubles wins from the teams of Parker Johnson and Brian Marcille and Mason Gedlaman and Gavin Thelan. The team of Logan Carr and Mike Sandefer completed the sweep with a win in a third set tiebreaker.
The Columbia Falls girls weren’t quite as successful, losing to the Maidens 5-2.
Natalie Law won her singles match against Ronan’s Seri Smith in three sets while the team of Magee Panasuk and McAne Christofferson won for the WIldkats in doubles.

MISSOULA — Glacier Wolfpack softball had a productive day against Missoula teams, first routing Big Sky 25-0 and then edging Sentinel 4-3 on Thursday in Western AA play.
