After the grand opening last year of its sprawling new Hagadone Event Center just a few feet from the world’s only floating green, it’s no surprise that the Coeur d’Alene Resort was once again voted the region’s best hotel and resort. Resort manager Bill Reagan credits his team with the achievement.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort was also given an Honorable Mention for Most Attractive Building in the “Best of North Idaho” list for 2012. Located at 115 S. Second St. on the shores of pristine Lake Coeur d’Alene, the recently remodeled, 26-year-old luxury resort is equally exquisite. The new foyer welcomes guests with a 2,200-gallon aquarium of koi and a relaxing atmosphere of plush furnishings surrounding a comfortable fire. The five-star resort draws thousands of tourists annually, but locals also frequent the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s restaurants, spa, and luxurious surroundings, often treating themselves to overnight stays.
