Canitez, a junior from North Idaho College, was named to the NAIA Division I all-tournament second team last Tuesday in Frankfort, Kent. Canitez started all 35 games, averaging 19.1 points and 10.5 rebounds a game for the Warriors, who lost in the quarterfinals and finished 31-4.

Shamsud-din, a junior from NIC, was named to the All-Pacific West Conference team as an honorable mention. Shamsud-din became the single-season record holder in points (466) and was second in the conference in scoring with 16.6 points per game, for the Division II Urban Knights of San Francisco, which finished 4-24.

White, a junior transfer from NIC, started 21 of 31 games for the Roadrunners this season, averaging 7.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 25.1 minutes a game. He scored 12 points in the team's 75-69 loss to Utah State in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com tournament. White had transferred from Utah State to NIC before his sophomore season.

Nyquist, a freshman right fielder from Coeur d'Alene High, went 2 for 4 with three runs scored in the Bigfoot's 14-1 win over Okanagan on March 18 in Spokane. Nyquist is batting .261 (6 of 23) with eight runs scored and six RBIs for Spokane, which is 8-8.

Ross, a redshirt sophomore from Lake City and NIC, drove in two runs for the Pirates in an 11-1 win over Carleton in five innings on Friday in the Tucson Invitational as the Pirates improved to 13-15. Ross is battling .311 (19-61) with 19 RBIs in 23 starts.
