Bernice K. Swenson, 92

Bernice Katherine Swenson, 92, of Pinehurst, Idaho, passed away March 25, 2012 at the family home of Pinehurst. She was born Jan. 30, 1920, at Manistique, Mich.; Bernice was the daughter of James and Evelyn (Michaels) Snyder.
Bernice attended schools in Manistique. She moved to the Silver Valley in 1960 from Michigan.
Bernice first married Bruce Stewart and they were married for 14 years; she then married Eugene Strzalkowski and they were married for 35 years; Eugene preceded her in death.
Bernice then married Harold Osgood and they were married for five years before he passed away.
And she then married Lewis Swenson and they were married for 10 years before he passed away in December 2009.
Bernice was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Pinehurst.
Bernice loved and enjoyed her family, oil painting, fishing, camping, playing pinochle and decorating her home. She was also a wonderful cook.
Bernice is survived by three children Wid and Fonda Stewart of Post Falls, Jim and Elvi Stewart of Pinehurst, and Sharon and Robin Gronvall of Ishpeming, Mich.; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; one sister Eileen Cobb of Holton Lake, Mich.; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one son Richmond Stewart, three brothers and two sisters.
Cremation was held and memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Pinehurst.
