Two Republican legislators and a GOP candidate for state superintendent of schools will hold a forum on education legislation tonight at Flathead Valley Community College.

Sen. Llew Jones, R-Conrad, and Sen. Bruce Tutvedt, R-Kalispell, will be on hand with candidate Sandy Welch to discuss legislation affecting education that was passed last year.

“You are invited to an exciting evening talking about education and our vision to empower parents, school boards and local administrators to facilitate world-class educational opportunities for students at our public schools,” a press release states.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the college’s Arts and Technology Building, conference room 139.
