Kendyl Collinsworth’s painting of a wood duck earned the Whitefish High School sophomore Best in Show in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Junior Duck Stamp contest for the second year in a row.

Patrick Cote/Daily Inter Lake After finishing the final leg of her 91-mile fundraising run, Kelda Latham-Bennett, right, is greeted by Special Olympics athlete Chrissy Siefke in the Flathead Industries parking lot Monday afternoon. Latham-Bennett raised more than $4,000 for Special Olympics of Montana by running from Libby to Kalispell.
