Dorothy Ann Flint, age 68, longtime Moses Lake resident died in her home in Moses Lake, WA on March 27, 2012. She went with the Lord peacefully in her sleep.
Dorothy was born in Ritzville, WA on October 8, 1943 to Andrew and Elta (Miller) Christman. She grew up in Odessa, WA and also lived in St. Paul, MN, Spokane, WA, Othello, WA and finally in Moses Lake, WA.
Dorothy enjoyed gardening, was an avid bingo player, watching football with her family, especially her beloved Green Bay Packers, fishing with her husband Lyle, sewing, embroidery, playing cards and loved watching wrestling on TV.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Elta Christman. She is survived by her beloved husband Lyle Flint, sisters Gladys Strader, both of Moses Lake, WA, Violet Riley of Anchorage, AK, Judy Buchmann, brother Andrew Christman, Jr.; four children Michael McCrae, Kellie (Larry) Miller, Tina (Carl) Tuttle, and Gina Flint (Suzie Haas); 7 grandchildren Angel Trujillo, Shane White, Daniel Trujillo, Daniel Manning, William "Billy" Bagwell, Rickiesha "Rickie" Bagwell, Alyssa Miller, Adam Haas and Cameron Miller all of Moses Lake, WA. Dorothy was also blessed with four great-grandchildren Peyton Schuller, Emma Bagwell, Zoie White and Leah Nelson all of Moses Lake, WA.
Viewing will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2012 in New Beginnings Christian Church, 318 W. Northshore Dr., Moses Lake, WA. A Celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the same location. A potluck luncheon will immediately follow the services in the Fellowship Hall.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in Lyle's name at any Chase bank branch or sent to Carver Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 457, Moses Lake, WA 98837 in Lyle's name.
