POLSON — Lake County Search and Rescue (LCSAR) has obtained a location for a new facility on Kerr Dam Road and will continue on in the process of requesting bids on the construction of a new facility, an avenue in which LCSAR plans to include many local businesses.

“We are excited to finally enter this phase of the new building,” said Frankie Brown, LCSAR president. “Finally, we will be able to store all of the equipment needed to provide assistance in all terrains, including the search boat. Plus, having training space large enough for a growing group is a huge benefit.”

LCSAR would like to thank Lake County community members, Lake County Commissioners and Sheriff Jay Doyle for their support of this project.
