Bricks available for park's memorial path
Bigfork Eagle | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 13 years, 1 month AGO
Members of Bigfork’s Sliter Park Memorial Committee will begin cleaning the park, planting flowers and installing personally inscribed pathway bricks that were ordered during the fall and winter for a memorial walking path.
Dedicated last June, the park near the Swan River honors Bigfork veterans and pioneers. It includes two bronze statues, “Pioneer Woman” and “Fallen Heroes,” mounted on native stone, a 25-foot lighted flagpole, native plantings, a rockwall perimeter and rock benches.
More than 400 bricks are already installed on the path.
There is limited space remaining for people to honor veterans and family members. Memorial bricks are $50 each or $40 each for multiple orders. To order bricks, contact Jerry Murphy at 837-2459.
