Fastpitch team drops two to Kellogg

The girls Badger fast pitch team lost two games on April 28 to Kellogg.
The first game was 8-4 and the second, 10-5.
Jordan Porter pitched a fast game in the fort game with Caitlin Alexander catching the heat. During game two, Makenzie Carle pitched to Kendra Neumeyer.
“The girls never gave up and they battled for runs even while behind,” said Lauren Bartoe Badger coach.
There are three more district games for the softball team. The first is at 4 p.m., Thursday vs Priest River.
There is a home game against Priest River at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, starting at 10 a.m.
The team will also be recognizing their seniors at this game Saturday. There are six seniors on the team and the manager is also a senior and is a foreign exchange student from Belgium.
The seniors are Jordan Porter, Kendra Neumeyer, Mattea Bertling, Natasha Gray, Natasha Litterell, Caitlin Alexander and manager Elise Couplet.

On Saturday the Badgers traveled to St. Maries and lost in a 63-51 final score.
