Ford Motor Company, Lake City Ford partner to help school

Ford Motor Company and Lake City Ford are partnering to help raise at least $6,000 in support of Lakeland High School as part of the Drive One 4 UR School program.

Members of our community will have the opportunity to raise money for the schools by test driving a Ford or Lincoln vehicle. This one-day event is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lakeland High School.

Each test drive will last about five minutes.

Ford Motor Company and Lake City Ford will donate $20 to Lakeland High for every person who test drives a new Ford or Lincoln vehicle.

The school will be using the proceeds for its activities budget.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver's license. There is a limit of one test drive per household.
