University of Montana Radio-Television Journalism professor Ray Ekness and broadcast journalism students Alexandra Schwier of Bozeman and Kyle Schmauch of Kalispell accept checks April 27 from “Fox & Friends” hosts. Schmauch and Schwier won the Fox News College Challenge with their television news entry about the wolf hunting controversy in Montana.

Schmauch and Schwier each won $5,000 plus $10,000 for the university.
