MARDON RESORT - The 2012 Rod Meseberg Spring Walleye Classic is this weekend, May 5 and 6. Friday evening we provide a free dinner to all our competitors and their families as well as our sponsors. This walleye fishing tournament is open to the public. Registration ends at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 4. This tournament is a CWFAC Event that we take the proceeds from to build habitat boxes and plant them in the lake. If you have questions about the tournament please call 1-800-416-2736.

The end of October, Halloween, and early November means fall is in the air. The beginning of the northern flights of waterfowl, lunker walleye on Potholes Reservoir, and especially Goose Hunting in fields are all activities outdoor enthusiasts enjoy this time of year. The water level on Potholes Reservoir has risen almost 8 feet since the lowest level of 2014.
