Lillian Agnes Pugh, 83, passed away in Coeur d’Alene on Friday, May 4, 2012. Lillian was born in Dent, Minn., on April 8, 1929, the daughter of Harvey and Lillian Rounsville. The family moved to Clark Fork in 1934 and Lillian graduated from the eighth grade in Hope in 1943. She married Verdun Pugh on May 13, 1949, in Coeur d’Alene.
She lived in Clark Fork until 1992 when she moved to Spokane. In 1994 she moved to Spirit Lake and then to Hayden in 2003. She was a member of the Clark Fork United Methodist Church and the Clark Fork Sewing Club. She enjoyed her gardens, sewing and knitting and donating to the Toys for Tots program.
Lillian is survived by three children, Lorana Pugh in Hayden, Gary Pugh in Deborgia, Mont., and Joan Pugh in Hayden; her grandson, Dale Pugh in Fort Peck, Mont.; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Gibson in Rathdrum, Laverna Lee and Doris Wells, both in Spokane; and a brother, Dale Pugh in Spokane.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Gary and several siblings.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel, 109 N. Division Ave., Sandpoint. Burial will be in the Clark Fork Cemetery. Service arrangements are under the direction of Coffelt Funeral Service.
