ANNIVERSARY
Paul and Terri Kieper
35th Anniversary
Paul and Terri (Best) Kieper, of Coeur d'Alene, will be celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary on May 14, 2012. They were married May 14, 1977.
Terri works in retail and Paul is an Auto Paint Technician. They have a son, Ron Kieper of Coeur d'Alene.
ENGAGEMENTS
Robidou-Turner
Steve and Diane Turner of Hayden Lake are proud to announce the engagement of their son, Ian Turner to Whitney Robidou.
The wedding date is Aug. 18, 2012, at the home of the bride's parents Greg and Terry Robidou in Columbia Falls, Mont.
Ian is a graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School class of 2007, and Rocky Mountain College class of 2011 in Billings, Mont., and currently resides in Bellingham, Wash., working at Bellingham International Airport as an Airport Operation Specialist.
Whitney currently works in Williston, N.D., as a fourth-grade elementary teacher. She is a 2005 graduate of Flathead High School as well as Rocky Mountain College class of 2009.
After a short honeymoon at Leavenworth the couple will reside in Bellingham.
Freeman-Fink
Jim and Cheryl Freeman announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Michelle Freeman, to Erik Robert Fink, son of Amy and Tim Arnhold and the late Robert Fink.
The future bride and groom both attend the University of Idaho. Alicia is majoring in chemistry and secondary education. Erik is majoring in journalism.
A July 2012 wedding is planned and the couple will live in Moscow.
Baldwin-Doty
Susan Heidt and Michael Baldwin announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Leigh Baldwin, to Benjamin Matthew Doty, son of Cindy and Cliff McAleer and the late Matthew Doty.
The future bride and groom both attend the University of Idaho. Erin is majoring in psychology. Ben is majoring in psychology and sociology.
A July 2012 wedding is planned and the couple will live in Moscow.
Baldwin-Potter
Mr. and Mrs. Don and Chris Baldwin of Coeur d'Alene are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya Baldwin, to Boomer Potter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug and Pam Potter of Coeur d'Alene.
Tonya, an accounting graduate from the University of Arizona and recent graduate from Gonzaga University School of Law, plans to work in business law. Boomer, a marketing graduate from the University of Arizona, works for Century 21.
A September wedding is planned.
BIRTHS
Aubrie Lorane Miller was born at 4:35 a.m. April 30, 2012, to Jennifer and Mackenzie Miller of Hayden. She weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 19.75 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Bill and Diane Leonard. Paternal grandparents are Bruce and Janice Miller, and the late Loretta Strinden.
MILITARY
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Timothy R. Laux, son of Jennifer Laux of Post Falls and George Laux of Bothell, Wash., recently completed Naval Nuclear Power Training Pipeline.
During the course with Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N. Y, Laux received instruction about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security. Upon completion of the course, Laux qualified as a Naval nuclear operator.
Laux is a 2006 graduate of Post Falls Christian Academy in Post Falls and joined the Navy in March 2010.
Army Pfc. Brock J. Buttrey has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
Buttrey is a 2007 graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School. He earned an associate's degree in 2010 from Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Wash.
