Flathead Valley Jazz Society’s Spring Jazz Roundup takes place Sunday at the Elks Lodge in Kalispell.

Jazz groups from around the valley will perform from 1 to 11 p.m. The event will feature hot jazz, ragtime, swing, big band, cool jazz and blues.

Cost is $15 for all day, $10 for half day or $5 for one hour.

Food will be available for purchase. Jazz Society members should inquire at the door about special “members only” prices.

The schedule is as follows:

1 p.m. — Flathead Society Dance Orchestra plays dance music from the 1920s and ’30s.

2 p.m. — Rocky Mountain Rhythm Kings play Dixieland and hot jazz.

3 p.m. — Sax-O-Phun plays eclectic early jazz.

4 p.m. — Company Brass plays swing, easy listening and lite jazz.

5 p.m. — Swingin’ on High plays early Big Band-era jazz and old favorites.

6 p.m. — Swingin’ Light plays Swing-era jazz and dance tunes.

7 p.m. — The Don Lawrence Orchestra plays big band jazz, featuring many arrangements by the group’s namesake.

8 p.m. — Pizzazz Jazz Combo plays an eclectic mix of swing and jazz standards.

9 p.m. — The Jack Waller Quintet plays contemporary jazz and bebop.

10 p.m. — The Don Caverly Trio plays contemporary jazz and blues.

The event will wrap up with a jam session; all musician are welcome.
