NIC men finish 16th at NJCAA golf nationals

NEWTON, Kan. - North Idaho College shot a 317 on Friday and finished in 16th place with a team score of 1,252 at the NJCAA men's golf tournament at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
Indian Hills shot an 1,185 to win the 72-hole tournament by 13 strokes over Western Texas.
Austin Westphal of NIC shot a 310 and finished in a tie for 50th place. Eli Bowen and Spencer Skipper each shot 315, Taylor Reed 317, Dylan Morrison 320.
Jake Stirling of Meridian CC shot a 2-under-par 286 and won by one shot over Jon Paul Blampied of Indian Hills CC.
