Brandon Morrow pitched his second shutout in four starts, blanking the Mets on three hits and leading the Toronto Blue Jays over visiting New York 2-0 on Saturday.
Morrow struck out eight and walked one to win for the fifth time in six outings. He has three career shutouts, including a victory over the Los Angeles Angels on May 3.
Toronto matched its season high by winning its fourth in a row overall.
Reds 6, Yankees 5: Joey Votto hit a three-run homer, Jose Arredondo worked out of a ninth-inning jam for his first major league save and Cincinnati won at New York.
Indians 2, Marlins 0: Jeanmar Gomez pitched three-hit ball into the seventh inning and Asdrubal Cabrera homered to lead Cleveland past visiting Miami.
Pirates 4, Tigers 3: Andrew McCutchen hit a pair of two-run homers and A.J. Burnett pitched six solid innings to lead Pittsburgh at Detroit.
White Sox 7, Cubs 4: John Danks pitched shutout ball into the seventh for his first win in nearly a month and Dayan Viciedo, A.J. Pierzynski and Adam Dunn homered as the visiting Chicago White Sox beat the Chicago Cubs.
Giants 4, Athletics 0: Ryan Vogelsong allowed one hit in seven scoreless innings and San Francisco beat visiting Oakland.
Rays 5, Braves 2: At St. Petersburg, Fla., Alex Cobb won his first start of the season, Matt Joyce hit a grand slam and Tampa Bay beat Atlanta.
Twins 5, Brewers 4, 11 inn.: Trevor Plouffe hit a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to lift Minnesota at Milwaukee.
Royals 7, Diamondbacks 3: Billy Butler and Mike Moustakas homered, Bruce Chen won his third straight start and Kansas City beat visiting Arizona.
Astros 6, Rangers 5: Justin Maxwell hit one of Houston's season-high three homers to put his team on top in the fifth inning and the Astros held on for a win over visiting Texas.
Padres 3, Angels 2: Alexi Amarista scored San Diego's first two runs and then doubled in the go-ahead run in the seventh to lead the host Padres past Los Angeles.
Orioles 6, Nationals 5: Adam Jones and Nick Markakis hit two-run homers and visiting Baltimore beat Washington.
Red Sox 7, Phillies 5: David Ortiz homered, singled and drove in two runs to lead Boston at Philadelphia.

Dodgers 6, Cardinals 0: Clayton Kershaw tossed a six-hitter for his fourth career shutout, leading host Los Angeles past St. Louis.
