60th Anniversary

Lee and Joan Bolle, of Hayden, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 11, 2012. They were married on May 11, 1952.

Paul and Terri Kieper

35th Anniversary

Paul and Terri (Best) Kieper, of Coeur d'Alene, celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on May 14, 2012. They were married May 14, 1977.

Terri works in retail and Paul is an auto paint technician. They have a son, Ron Kieper of Coeur d'Alene and his girlfriend of six years Heidi Paul of Spokane.

BIRTHS

Kaylie Christine Harp was born at 10:59 p.m. March 27, 2012, to Lesli Nicole Sell and Shawn Montgomery Harp of Coeur d'Alene, at Sacred Heart Medical Center. She weighed 2 lbs. and was 13 inches long. Brother is Shawn Harp, 12. Maternal grandparents are JoAnne Sherman of Coeur d'Alene, and LaVere and Teresa Sell of Streamwood, Ill. Paternal grandparents are Forrest and Christine Harp of Post Falls.

Joseph Eli Hull was born at 2:58 a.m. May 3, 2012, to Elizabeth Clark and Justin I. Hull of Hayden. He weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 21 inches long. Brothers are Mason, Jarynn and Jaemin. Maternal grandparents are Kathi Clark and Michael Penkal. Paternal grandparents are Jesse and Betsy Hull.

Kenley Reese Link was born May 4, 2012, to Katie and Levi Link of Coeur d'Alene at Valley Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz.

On May 6, 2012, Zach and Casey Hamilton welcomed their son, Ty Zachary Hamilton, to the world. He was a healthy 8 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 inches long. He is the second son and little brother to the proud big brother Lucas Hamilton.

Owen James Copstead was born at 4:11 p.m. May 7, 2012, to Jina and Mitchell Copstead of Coeur d'Alene. He weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20 inches long. Sister is Bailey Ann. Maternal grandparents are Dan Walk and Kathy Walk. Paternal grandfather is Chris Copstead.

MILITARY

Navy Seaman Nico Van Wyngaardt, whose wife, Melissa, is the daughter of Linda L. and Matthew D. McFaddan of Post Falls, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

During the eight-week program, Van Wyngaardt completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
